About EasyLink
EasyLink makes EDI easy to use and easy to understand. Optimizing our professionals, processes, technology, and expertise for your benefit is our number one priority. Our end goal is to provide you unsurpassed services and support, enabling you to stay focused on your business.
Our Partnership with AAFES
Since 1997, EasyLink has continued to partner with retailers, such as AAFES, to provide outstanding EDI services to their vendors. AAFES is now a Gold Partner of EasyLink Services, meaning we enable a large number of AAFES vendors to communicate electronically. We continually work with AAFES to stay abreast of their new EDI requirements and mandates.
Upcoming AAFES Requirements
AAFES is planning to implement two new EDI documents- the Request for Routing (753) and the Routing Instructions (754). The Request for Routing (753) is to request the Ship To location from AAFES. It will be sent from you to AAFES prior to shipping. The Routing Instructions (754) is AAFES’ response to the 753 and gives all shipping instructions to you. EasyLink is currently handling the 753/754 documents for other retailers, and we are confident we will be capable of handling these new documents with AAFES.
AAFES is also planning to implement Data Synchronization as a requirement for all vendors. Data Synchronization is the business process to ensure product, price, location and related information is continuously kept in sync across the supply chain. The purpose of Data Synchronization is to ensure information regarding the item is accurate and updated in order to achieve maximum efficiencies in executing business transactions. EasyLink has Data Synchronization capabilities. Click here to learn more about these products.
